Last night I watched reruns of CSI, House, and then Numb3rs. Neither of those shows might be your cup of tea, but they all definitely require interesting writing.

I saw the same promo for a "new" House after the Superbowl - probably aired at least 5 times during the one hour I was with Fox. It was kind of annoying, but made me realize the state of television right now. You have to get people riled up about the "new" show that's airing.

In the midst of channel-surfing, though, I also saw promos for new shows like "My dad is better than your dad" and "Gladiators".

I'll admit that I do watch American Idol and I've at least tuned in for pretty much every new reality show to give it a chance... but... can we get these writers back so we have actual entertaining things to watch?

It's been months and months now with no end in sight. Strikes usually don't last this long, do they? They're usually short-term "messages" that are sent by the union that get things going. Something tells me that there is more going on behind closed doors than we are led to believe. And it might not be all at the fault of the "big companies".
